Hello
Hi, I’m Lucy a qualified driving instructor and owner of FLO Driving School. I offer manual driving lessons in Horsham, West Sussex.
Driving made such a difference to me as a young person, it gave me independence and freedom. It allowed me to follow my dreams and work in Hotels, travelling around the country training others in the skills of customer service.
The Covid pandemic had a huge impact on the Hotel industry and, in 2022, I made the decision to re-train as a Driving Instructor. Now I use my passion for teaching along with my calm and patient manner to help others achieve their goal of becoming competent and confident drivers. I hope to teach my young son to be a safe driver one day too.
Learning to drive and passing your test can be a tough journey. Dedication and lots of hard work is required. I am here to help and support you with everything from hazard perception and driving theory, to controlling the car, dealing with various types of roads and other road users, weather conditions, even managing nerves on the test day.

Lesson Fees
£39 per hour
£360 for a prepaid block of 10 hours
Lessons are usually in 2-hour slots

*Loan of the theory test revision kit
*Assistance with practical test booking
*Test day charged at 2 hours - which includes a 1 hour warm up drive, test time and travel
For new starters why not try a Taster Session.
The 90 minute Taster Session is a chance for you to get to know the car, learn some basic techniques and ask any questions you may have about the practical or theory course.

Perfect if you would like to have a regular 2 hour lesson each week and work towards your practical test at a comfortable pace.
Intensive Option
£150 / 4 hour lesson
20 minute halfway break
Homework set after each lesson
This is a great option if you have already passed your theory and are keen to get driving quickly.
